New band and new release time! I’m very pleased to welcome LAID LOW to the Endnote family of artists. Laid Low are a melodic, heavy, nu-rock band from Cleveland, Ohio. In June, they dropped the EP “Judas Kiss” on all digital platforms and on August 7, we’ll have those songs out on a slick transparent tape with black hubs just in time for their show at The Birdhouse’s 100 show anniversary! It’s gonna be rad. Listen to “Judas Kiss” digitally at a loud volume today wherever you do your streaming and get ready for the drop next month!

House Crimes will be playing their debut show on Saturday, August 8 at The Barn in Akron's West Hill neighborhood! The address is 226 Crosby St., Akron. It's also the release show for "The Larkboys Tapes Parts 1+2" cassettes! Digital release dropping on August 1. They'll be joined by Heart & Lung, Model Martel, and Eighty-Sixed, Kid. What a lineup! See you at the gig!

This is House Crimes! They are a melodic punk band from Akron, Ohio for fans of The Fest, Orgcore Punk, and brutal honesty. House Crimes have roots that run deep throughout the scene, as well as with me, personally! The first tee shirt I ever designed, way back in my teenage years, was for guitarist Aaron Novak's early 2000's emo band, "Waiting For Evangeline." I was with singer Josh Taylor when I saw Thursday for the first time and interviewed Geoff Rickly and soaked in every word. Years later I took some of my first band portraits with his band "Friends Back East" as I began my photography journey. I knocked out the layout and design for my first vinyl release, the Friends Back East 7" EP, "Some Songs We Wrote" in 2008. The two songwriters would eventually team up to form Worship This! I found myself lucky to be around to photograph and document the band as they grew. I photographed the cover and handled the layout for their record, "Mint." I hit the road for a weekend tour. Our bond runs deep. These fellas have allowed me to make so many amazing memories while I practiced my crafts over multiple decades and that is why I am so stoked to be working with them again!
"The Larkboy Tapes Part 1 & 2" is coming soon! Duplicated locally, assembled by hand at Endnote HQ.

Tonight is the album release show for Ritual Bronze where they'll be at Mahall's 20 Lanes supporting KEEP alongside Dogs Run Free and Tough Loss. Although the Steadfast / Sweet Cheetah vinyl and CDs have been out in the world for a couple weeks, tonight marks the official release of the Endnote produced cassette tape and zine combo. It was a great pleasure to work on all aspects of this project - from the music video for "Memories Lodged In The Nervous System," to assembling the cassettes and the zines by hand late at night after the work day has ended. This release is super limited and will be available for purchase at the show tonight. Anything left over after the show will be available on the web store right here!

The debut LP from Ritual Bronze is out now via Steadfast Records / Sweet Cheetah Records and streaming wherever you like to stream your music. The record release show will be on Saturday June 20 at Mahall's 20 Lanes where Ritual Bronze will be supporting KEEP alongside Tough Loss and Dogs Run Free. The limited edition, Endnote produced cassette tape and zine will be available for purchase at the release show. Additional copies remaining will be available online after the show.

I recently teamed up with Ritual Bronze to produce a music video for their song "Memories Lodged In The Nervous System" and here it is for you. Vinyl pre-orders via Steadfast Records available now. Cassette to follow via Endnote.

Today marks six years since the formation of Endnote Records! In that first year I released music and made art for close friends to celebrate their music and vision. At the end of 2020 my partner and I were forced to move out of our home where I printed shirts and operated the label out of. In 2021 I would take over the booking and management of a music venue in Akron called Musica. There, I booked events under Endnote Presents and contributed to a great community of music fans and the bands they supported. During that time, I was focused on the events and trying to make something special - in person - after the COVID era restrictions were lifted. I'm pretty proud of what I put into that place and the events that I put on with Endnote. I was so busy putting on shows that I didn’t get back to physical releases and art for bands I believed in. But I didn't go anywhere.
Now, it is April 20, 2026 and Endnote Records and all of my other endeavors under the Endnote HQ umbrella, is celebrating our six year birthday! With that being said, Endnote Records is back. I’d like to welcome both House Crimes and Ritual Bronze to the Endnote family. Between the two bands, we’ll be releasing some tapes, an Endnote produced music video, and another zine! More info on all of that to come. For now, thanks for reading. Endnote Records – A Cleveland Original Since 2020!
Happy to see you again.

The new digital three song EP from Eighty-Sixed, Kid, titled "No Bandwidth" is streaming now! No Bandwidth has three stripped back songs of honest introspection and exceptional story-telling from singer/songwriter Daniel Palmentera. Take a listen wherever you like to listen!
I threw up a Cats! tee for my fellow weirdo cat lovers out there. I don't know why I didn't release these two tees together, but here we are. Cats are real cool and you can be a real cool cat if you wear one. Thanks for lookin'! Click here for Cats!

I wanted a shirt that said, "Dogs!" in my favorite font so I made a shirt that says "Dogs!" in my favorite font! Click here to check it out.
I recently rescued a small puppy! I named him Milo. He and my three year old Labradane, Oliver, have been chumming it up pretty good and both of them are learning so much about each other. As Oliver has been a single child, this is a big change for him! It's a big change for all of us, to be honest. Milo has brought so many smiles already and I can't wait for a million more. Dogs are good for the heart. If you've been thinking of adopting a dog, please do so if you can! Now that I have two mouths to feed outside of my own, I decided to print these shirts that I've been envisioning in my mind for months. Simple, clean, and minimal design to show your support for Dogs!

This is the first release from the Little Buddy collection.
Designed in Cleveland and printed by hand on durable 100%, 5.5 ounce, ring spun USA cotton shirts from Tultex. Fit is pretty true to size.
Today we are beyond stoked to announce the first single from, and pre-orders for, Eighty-Sixed, Kid's debut self titled EP! Daniel Palmentera's first solo offering comes after years of playing in his band My Mouth Is The Speaker. Working hard to craft his feelings into thoughtful, memorable bits of melody, Eighty-Sixed, Kid is an introspective and reflective output of emotion. The first single, "I Like Their Old Stuff Better" lays out how it feels when you hear new music from a favorite band that just doesn't hit like it once did. It's okay, though, because it's recognized that the music is still the best they've ever done.
Endnote Records · 01 - I Like Their Old Stuff Better
Following "I Liked Their Old Stuff Better" are four more offerings of honesty, introspection, loss, and melody. The track list looks like this:
I Like Their Old Stuff Better
Gut Punch
Kick Rocks, Eighty-Sixed, Kid
Skeletons
When You Came Home You Never Really Came Home
Pre-orders are LIVE right now! We are offering a CD, tee shirt, or a discounted bundle that includes both! Each option will come with an immediate download of the EP, which will hit streaming sites on 10/30/20. We recommend the bundle for the best value and highest level of support for Danny and Eighty-Sixed, Kid at a flat $20 shipped in the USA! All tee shirts are hand printed at Endnote HQ and orders will be sent out on or before 10/30/20.

Welcome Rusted Hearts to the Endnote roster! I've worked with the Rusted Hearts guys' various projects through the years creating album art, photos, and music videos and so I'm very pleased to be working with them once again as they become my inaugural Endnote release! Last June, I used images I had taken years before to construct an album cover for their digital only release of the EP "Return Home." Now, for the one year anniversary, we have expanded on those images to create a supplemental art book!
Aside from the music, a release's artwork and design is one of the most important aspects of a band's album. I have always loved combing through CD booklets and vinyl inserts, admiring photos and illustrations, while reading lyrics and thank you lists. With the rise of digital distribution and the ability for people to listen to a band on any of their preferred platforms, some of that experiential listening has fallen off. We're releasing this 48 page book as an expansion to the music without all the bulk of a vinyl, tape, or CD. As the designer for the original digital release, I was able to craft an album layout with photographs originally taken and used for the cover. Inside you will find 48 pages of photographs, lyrics, thank yous, and credits as well as a Rusted Hearts zine with commentary, history, merch designs, poster art, and more!

In the spirit of solidarity with Black Lives Matter, police and justice reform, and battling fascism, we will be donating the proceeds to the Cleveland chapter of Black Lives Matter.
The first run of this 48 page book is limited to 25 copies.
